Lemonade Lane Kids Market at Arts & Autos Event In partnership with Denton Main Street Foundation.

We are excited to partner with Denton Main Street Foundation for their annual Arts & Autos event.

This signature event brings thousands of visitors to the historic downtown Square for a day of classic rides, fine art, hand-made crafts, live music, and local food. Because space is limited and the kids market is required to abide by additional event requirements the vendor guidelines are more extensive and an application process is required. Please review the vendor guidelines below and complete the application. Once received the Lemonade Lane team will follow-up with next steps including payment.

Event Details:

  • Vendor Registration Fee $35 ($5 will be donated back to Denton Main Street Foundation)

  • Event Date: September 12, 2026

  • Load-In Window: 7:00– 7:30 AM (Sharp)

  • Event Operational Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (No early tear-downs)

  • Event Load-Out Window: 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Table, chair(s) and canopy ARE REQUIRED (Lemonade Lane will not be providing these essentials)

Please note the time requirements above prior to registering. This will be a busy market and the Arts & Autos event along with Dog Days of Denton will have a lot of moving parts. We will need to meet all time requirements in order to be good partners. We can’t wait to see everyone’s booths!

Please review ALL the guidelines below:

  • Any child ages 5–17 can be a vendor at Lemonade Lane Kids Market!

    The only requirement: the child must be actively running and marketing their booth. A parent or guardian must be present at all times. Children, including all age groups, may never be left unattended during the market.

    What Can I Sell?

    At Lemonade Lane, we welcome all kinds of kid entrepreneurs!

    • Handmade products

    • Resale items (you do not have to make the product yourself)

    • Services (face painting, live drawing, balloon art, games, etc.)

    Food Vendors

    For the September 12 market, pre-packaged food and drink items are welcome if you are registered under the Texas Cottage Food Law.

    If your child has a business idea, it probably belongs on the Lane! We love creativity and encourage kids to bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life.

  • To participate in the September 12th, market at Arts & Autos , all vendors must agree to and supply the following equipment.

    1. The 10' x 10' Pop-Up Canopy Rule Every vendor is required to provide their own 10' x 10' structural pop-up canopy/tent.

    2. Strict Weight Safety Mandate - You MUST HAVE WEIGHTS ON YOUR TENT! Because of unpredictable Texas winds and the fact we will be on pavement, all tents must be safely anchored with a minimum of 40 lbs of weight per leg. Weights can be purchased on amazon for less than $15.‍ ‍

    • Weights must be securely attached to the structural frame of the tent. Unweighted tents will be flagged immediately by safety marshals, and vendors will not be permitted to open until the tent is safe.

    3. Electrical

    There will not be electrical available for kids market vendors. Think batteries and generators for any of these needs.

    We suggest bringing a fan!

    Generators are welcome but if you are operating an independent generator, it must be a certified "whisper quiet" inverter model. Loud, contractor-grade commercial construction generators are completely prohibited.

  • In addition to the 10×10 canopy requirements the following are needed for an ideal booth setup. All items below need to be included as part of setup and everything must fit within the 10×10 space. Including any chairs, decor, displays or similar.

    Required:

    • Table for display (tablecloth suggested)

    • Folding chair for kid vendor and adult

    • Business sign with your business name

    • Clearly displayed prices for products or services

    • Parent/guardian present at all times

    • Booth staffed by the child vendor throughout the market

  • Bring your own bag!

    Vendors are required to manage all of their own trash. Anything you bring you will need to leave with. Including but not limited to boxes, plastic water bottles, plastic wrappers.

    Please bring your own trash bags to help manage your own space.

  • Load-in rules are dictated by safety requirements and city street closure ordinances.

    • Load-In 7:00am -7:30am

      • You will receive a map with the load-in location. You will be able to drive up and drop your booth items and then go park your car in designated public parking areas. We suggest using a wagon to help keep things easier for your setup.

    • Teardown Timing

      • Booths must remain fully set up and open for business from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Dismantling your display or packing up early is strictly prohibited, as it compromises pedestrian flow safety.

      • At 2:00 PM you can begin breaking down your booth space. Around 2:30pm is when you will be able to pull your car up to load. (this exact time is dependent upon when the street closure is open)

  • Once your application has been approved and payment has been made Lemonade Lane will not be able to issue any refunds.

  • Please note: Submitting an application is the first step in securing a booth. Completing an application does not guarantee vendor approval.

    After your application is reviewed, the Lemonade Lane team will contact you with the next steps, including booth payment and confirmation.

    Approval is dependent upon ensuring a variety of vendor types, the ability to follow all guidelines, market requirements and loading timelines.
